Renovation Project:

Enhancing Care and Comfort Starting Spring 2025

Why is this Renovation Needed?

  • The renovation addresses real and evolving needs, ensuring continued compassionate care for those facing end-of-life challenges.
  • It ensures that all families, healthcare professionals, and community members benefit from an updated, supportive environment.
  • The renovation will create a lasting legacy of community collaboration and support, fostering stronger relationships within the Tri-Cities area. The emotional connection and memories created at this location have been immeasurable and with these important upgrades will continue to build friendship, love and compassion for decades to come.
  • The project directly enhances the quality of life for patients, families, and caregivers, while benefiting the broader community by ensuring this vital resource remains available for years to come.

Planned Enhancements

  • Enhanced Family Comfort: A new “Fireside Room” will be created to provide families with a welcoming, home-like environment to relax, reflect, and gather.
  • Improved Family Kitchen & Dining Area:  Repurposing office and storage spaces to create a spacious, centralized kitchen and dining room will allow families to share meals together in a comfortable setting.
  • Quiet Reflection Space: A new chapel will offer a serene space for private reflection, prayer, and meditation.
  • Updated Technology and Nurses Station: Installation of computers in patient rooms and an updated nurses’ station will ensure more efficient care delivery.
  • Private Meeting Space: The addition of a dedicated, private room for care teams to hold confidential discussions with families.

Together we will complete these much-needed renovations, maintaining the Hospice House as a vital community resource for compassionate, specialized end-of-life care.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PARTNERSHIP TO BRING COMFORT, PEACE, AND DIGNITY TO PATIENTS AND FAMILIES.
